END OF SEASON ANNOUNCEMENTS

Trophy distribution will IY”H take place this Sunday, June 22^nd. We will be distributing donuts, trophies and a mystery gift between 9:30-10:30am in the YIWH backyard (or upstairs in the YIWH Youth Wing in the event of inclement weather). We look forward to seeing you there!

Congratulations to the 1^st/2^nd grade boys champion Black Crushers team, and to coaches Avrumie Kahn and Billy Lovy!

Congratulations to the 3^rd/4^th grade boys champion Yellow team, and to coaches Aaron Trauring, Richie Grossman and Avrumie Kahn!

Check out the pictures (below) of our 3^rd/4^th/5^th grade girls joining the Hofstra Pride women’s softball team on May 2^nd as part of Hofstra’s Dugout Runout program for local Little Leagues. Thanks to Bob Axel for organizing the trip and for taking great pictures!

Thanks also to the parents who pitched in (sometimes literally) every week and cheered on their children and their teams.

The league commissioners wish the entire West Hempstead Shuls community a great summer, and we look forward to another successful season next spring!

11:00: Kindergarten on Field 2

11:00: Girls 3^rd/4^th/5^th grades on Field 1

12:30-1:00: PIZZA at the field for Kindergarten, Girls, and 1^st/2^nd grade Boys and their coaches

1:15:   Boys 1^st/2^nd grade CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – Kahn v. Merrill on Field 1

2:30-3:00: PIZZA at the field for 3^rd/4^th grade and 5^th/6^th/7^th grade Boys and their coaches

3:00: Boys 3^rd/4^th grade CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – Eckman v. Trauring on Field 2

3:00:   Boys 5^th/6^th/7^th grades on Field 1

Please note that Field #1 is the field closest to Hempstead Avenue, and Field #2 is the field closest to the parking lot.

Updates, particularly weather-related, will be posted as applicable.

Don't forget to bring water for your children, and sunscreen as necessary. Hatzlacha to all the players!
